The ultimate way to travel the world is to actually be able to live in different places for long periods of time or even retire overseas. But even if you are not ready to retire and can’t live overseas now for various reasons, this article will point you in the direction of fascinating places to travel to that can be done very inexpensively. You pretty much never see places in Europe listed as affordable places to retire, because quite frankly things are more expensive there in general. But don’t let that prevent you from traveling there. Europe CAN still be done on a budget – you just have to work a little harder at it. We usually travel independently, booking our own flights, doing home exchanges, etc. But sometimes there are package deals out there that are an amazing value.
